It's hard to believe we've lived here in Nevada for 3 years now. It sure is dry here.
Our daughter's college room mate and boyfriend are planning to move to Reno this month. That will be nice for Sarah. She lives in Reno now, has nice room mates and her boyfriend Ben lives just a few minutes from her. Buck and Hayley also live in Reno now but plan to move back to Carson City this October. Jimmy, our dog, lives with Buck and Hayley.
Five years after retiring from HP, I've "re-upped" and am working there again. It's ... different. I just got back from a work trip to Atlanta. My friend there, Margaret, is taking EER and transitioned her work there to me. It made me sad, but fingers crossed that she'll return as a contractor in 6 months. Planning on another trip in a couple of months to Houston for a team face-to-face. Mike may travel there with me and we can spend a few days after the meeting checking out the area again.
Those little tiny glass or metal salt holders with the miniature spoons continue to fascinate me. I have quite a few of them and try to display them so they they aren't overwhelming. I also really enjoy Jayne Ann Krentz/Julie Garwood/Karen Chance/Linda Howard/Robin D Owens books. Try them, you may like them, too!
The Super Volcano thing hasn't improved since I first mentioned it. I still have too many family members way too close to it. And gosh, it's gonna go somewhere in the next 200k years (or something like that). Certainly something to ponder, yes? LOL!
